Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Interioraty app ("we") collects, why, and the choices you have. Contact: paul@shapiko.com.

What we collect

• Account identifiers. When you start, we create an anonymous account (a random user ID) with Google Firebase Authentication. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID user identifier and, if you share it, your name and email (which may be a private relay address).
• Your content. Photos you add, the prompts and chat messages you write, the designs we generate for you, color palettes and design elements. Photos and prompts are sent to our server to create designs. Generated designs and the images used to create them are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) linked to your user ID.
• Room and furniture data. Floor plans, room scans (on devices with LiDAR), furniture recipes and layouts are stored on your device. If you request an AI render or a floor plan from a photo, the relevant image is sent to our server for that request.
• Product links. Links you paste or share to import products are sent to our server so we can read the product's size and details.
• Credits and subscription status. Your credit balance, invite code and premium status are stored in Firestore. Purchases are processed by Apple; we use RevenueCat to check your subscription status. We never receive your payment details.
• Usage and diagnostics. Google Firebase Analytics records app events such as which screens you open, linked to your user ID; it does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports.
• Location (optional). If you enter a shopping address or allow approximate location for sunlight and local shopping, it is used for those features only.

How we use it

To provide the app's features (generating and editing designs, finding products and prices, checking fit, rendering), to keep your designs and credits, to manage your subscription, to understand and improve the app, and to fix crashes. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting); Google Gemini and Perplexity (AI processing of your photos and prompts to generate designs and find products); RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Sharing and community

Designs you generate may appear in the in-app "New" and "Trending" galleries. When you share a design link, anyone with the link can view that design.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete Account; your account, profile, credits and saved designs are then deleted from our systems. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.

Children

Interioraty is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
